We recently assisted the Page County Sheriff’s Office by trapping two dogs who were presumed to have been dumped at the very end of Page Valley Road in northern Page County. This is a very isolated area, and neighbors grew concerned when the dogs appeared, both very hungry and with the female dog pregnant.
We worked with neighbors in the area who fed them and kept them around. On a Sunday, we set two humane traps and were able to take them safely to the shelter.
Bronco (a black male) was adopted locally in Page County.

Hashbrown (a yellow female) had puppies the very next day at the shelter. She and her babies were ransferred to Green Dogs Unleashed near Charlottesville Virginia, a wonderful group who placed mom and the puppies.
Bronco and Hashbrown were fortunate to have lots of folks looking out for them, including the citizens on Page Valley Road.
