Cats Cradle of Harrisonburg

An organization whose mission is to ensure and maintain a safe, compassionate community for cats in the Shenandoah Valley. Cat’s Cradle does this by facilitating and promoting spay/neuter and trap, neuter, and return (TNR), conducting foster-based rescue and adoption from local shelters, and providing pet retention and rehoming programs. Their intent is to steadily decrease the intake of cats and kittens at local shelters and to ultimately end the euthanasia of healthy adoptable pets in the communities we serve.

A major fundraising partner, hosting our annual Wine & Whiskers at Wisteria event! Wisteria Farm & Vineyard was started in 2009 after the original owners cleared the land and planted the vines. The entire property is a little more than 15 acres with around 3 acres of vineyard. They have a small flock of Romney sheep as well as free-roaming chickens on the property. Wisteria serves a variety of wines, all produced entirely on site. They offer reds, whites, and blends, from completely dry to very sweet with a number of selections in between.

Page County Sherriff's Office: Animal Control Unit
