This handsome fellow was found on the porch of a citizen. As you can see from his picture, he had a terrible injury to his left front leg. The citizen fed him for several months, but he kept dragging his leg along the ground and could not use it.
When we saw this sweet picture, we knew we had to help him. Page Paws helped this cat receive vet care, where it was determined that he had a radial nerve injury and would not regain the use of the limb.
At one of our veterinary partners, Massanutten Animal Clinic in Harrisonburg Virginia, this tom cat had successful surgery to remove his injured leg.
Working together with his adopters, Page Paws was able to help them with a portion of the veterinary bill. The kitty was also neutered and received important vaccines to keep him healthy.
Often times, vet bills can be expensive, and large surgeries and illness treatments can be out of reach for pet families.
Because of your donations, we can help kitties in need like this endearing boy.
The family who had been feeding him eventually adopted him, and he now lives as an indoor-only cat in Page County.
